Need a solution for the last bit of cranberry sauce you have in your fridge? Make this cranberry orange warm oat bowl with apples, pecans and cinnamon!
We always make way too much of everything for the holidays, but I never mind it because I love Thanksgiving leftovers! My mom’s famous cranberry sauce it one of my favorite things on my plate every year. It’s made with cranberries, sugar and bourbon - that’s it and it’s SO good.

oats
oat milk
apple
maple syrup
cinnamon
nutmeg
orange zest
sea salt
pecans
leftover cranberry sauce
If you want to make this recipe without actual cranberry sauce, you can sauté cranberries with some orange zest and orange juice in a pan with some sugar or honey. then just stir this into your oat bowl!
Warm Cranberry Orange Oat Bowl
ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup instant oats
1 apple, peeled and shredded
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 orange, juiced
1 tsp orange zest
1/4 cup crushed pecans
pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup leftover cranberry sauce
directions:
add the oats and oat milk into a saucepan and cook on medium low.
add the shredded apple, cinnamon and nutmeg. then stir in the orange juice, orange zest, syrup, and sea salt. lastly, stir in the leftover cranberry sauce.
serve with crushed pecans on top and some orange slices!
