Warm Almond Butter & Dried Berry Oat Bowl

vegan / dairy free

I think my favorite cereal growing up was special k red berries. I still will randomly crave it as a dessert late night. when I saw these dried berries at trader joe’s I thought I NEEDED to try these. not gonna lie, I was hesitant to put them into a warm bowl. I’d only ever had dried fruit in cold cereal, but holy sh*t they were so good!

the berries you add into the oatmeal as you cook them got soft and so sweet, but then the ones you sprinkle on top give it such a good crunch, I didn’t even feel the need to add nuts to my oat bowl, which I usually always will to add that crunch factor. try this bowl on a colder summer morning, trust me.

this recipe can be vegan and dairy free is using plant-based milk.
