Gluten Free Pizza Bagels

gluten free / vegetarian

When I was a kid, there was not much else like a pizza bagel. I’m adultifying this treat to be gluten free and so so good for the adult-version of you!

I use Canyon Bakehouse Gluten Free Bagels to make these pizza bagels and not lose any of the texture or taste. Besides the bagel, there aren’t many other ingredients you need. Tomato sauce, olive oil, pepperonis, cheese and basil!

You can add any of your favorite toppings onto the pizza bagels. I used two difference types of cheese to make these pepperoni style pizza bagels. Veggie toppings would also be fantastic on them!

These pizza bagels couldn’t be easier to make. Throw them in the oven until the bagel gets crispy and the cheese gets melty and thats it!

 

Gluten Free Pizza Bagels

(serves 2 or 4)

ingredients:

  • 2 gluten free bagels (I used these)

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 12 pepperoni slices (3 for each bagel slice)

  • fresh basil

directions:

  1. preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. cut your bagels in half and arrange them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  3. brush olive oil on each bagel, cut side up. then spoon on the tomato sauce.

  4. add the shredded cheeses and pepperoni.

  5. bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese gets melty.

  6. serve with fresh basil and enjoy!
