A delicious summer treat that only takes 5 ingredients to make and will be sure to give a spicy kick!

In the summer, there is truly nothing better than some ice cream at the end of the day. One thing I always loved almost even more than ice cream though was sorbet. It was fruity and refreshing after being at the pool or the lake all day long. Lemon sorbet was always something I had in my fridge growing up. Maybe because it was sort of like lemon Italian ice? I don’t really know, but I do know I’m a sucker for any summer dessert that’s cold and fruity.

I always love getting my frozen fruit from Trader Joe’s. I have in my freezer at all times, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, frozen strawberries, and frozen raspberries. My all time favorite summer fruits right there. You just never know when you’re going to want a smoothie! Or make homemade sorbet…

The inspo for this flavor honestly came from an alcoholic beverage, a spicy mango margarita! Nothing better than sweet and spicy, which is exactly what this is with a hint on freshness!

Making homemade sorbet is amazing because all you need is a blender or food processor. You can serve it right away to store it in the freezer for an upcoming party or for dessert! It takes no time to make and is honestly so impressive to feed a large crowd.
