Hot Honey Peach Caprese Pasta Salad

A sweet pasta salad that has a major kick to it! Your classic caprese pasta salad but pared with sweet peaches and tossed in a delicious hot honey vinaigrette!

It is pasta salad summer people! There really is nothing better than whipping up a big bowl of summer pasta salad to bring to a bbq, to the lake, or to just have in the fridge when you need something quick to eat for lunch or dinner!

This pasta salad is beyond delicious. It uses my favorite caprese ingredients, like cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and pearl mozzarella. Adding the peach to it pairs so nicely with the fresh flavors and gives it an extra sweetness that so incredible. The hot honey vinaigrette that everything is tossed in is sweet but with that residual heat from the cayenne and red pepper flakes that takes this up a notch!

Hot Honey Peach Caprese Pasta Salad

A sweet pasta salad that has a major kick to it! Your classic caprese pasta salad but pared with sweet peaches and tossed in a delicious hot honey vinaigrette!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz orecchiette pasta, cooked
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 16 oz pearl mozzarella balls
  • 4 large peaches, diced
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne (can add more if you want more spice)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combined the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, peaches, and basil.
  2. Whisk the vinegar, honey, olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and cayenne together.
  3. Pour over the pasta salad and toss well. Serve or store in airtight container for up to 3 days.
