This Country White Bread Apple & Sausage Stuffing is one of those Thanksgiving sides that might just steal the show! It's made with buttery, toasted cubes of country white bread, sweet Italian sausage, tart Granny Smith apples, and tons of fresh sage, thyme, and rosemary. The combination of savory sausage, sweet apples, and all those cozy herbs gives you everything you want in a classic holiday stuffing, with a little something extra.
The secret is toasting the bread before mixing everything together so it soaks up all that flavorful broth without turning mushy.
